Teenager dies in motorcycle stunt
A 16-year-old boy died Saturday after crashing his motorcycle while performing stunts in a high school parking lot, police said Sunday.
The boy was “doing a variety of high-speed stunts” in the parking lot of Martin Luther King Jr. High School about 7:20 p.m. when he lost control of his 2008 Yamaha R1 motorcycle and crashed into a wall, according to a Riverside Police Department news release.
The boy, who was not identified, was taken to Riverside Community Hospital, where he died from his injuries, police said. He was wearing a helmet.
