Pair found dead in home are ID’d
The couple found dead in their home in the French Valley neighborhood of this Riverside County community were identified Friday as Marine Sgt. Jan P. Pietrzak, 24, and his wife, Quianna Jenkins-Pietrzak, 26.
Pietrzak, who had served in Iraq, was stationed at the Miramar Marine Corps Air Station.
An autopsy showed that each died of a gunshot to the head, according to the Sheriff’s Department.
There were no signs of a break-in, and a fire was apparently started in the home to destroy evidence, investigators said.
