The Division I title game tonight at 7:30 between Huntington Beach Edison and Mission Viejo Capistrano Valley is all about pitching. Edison (23-5) will go with Kurt Heyer, a senior right-hander who has performed well in several big games. Capistrano Valley (25-6) will counter with left-hander Kevin Chambers, who shut out Marina in his last start. If either needs help, a couple of hot left-handers -- Henry Owens of Edison and top pro prospect Tyler Matzek of Capistrano Valley -- can go up to three innings each out of the bullpen. One key could be which team plays the best defense in a major-league ballpark.

Other games: Division IV -- San Dimas (23-5) vs. Torrance (25-7), 10 a.m. Division III -- West Covina South Hills (21-8) vs. Irvine Beckman (26-4), 1 p.m. Division II -- Encino Crespi (20-11) vs. Huntington Beach (19-12), 4:30 p.m.
