Galaxy tonight

VS. SEATTLE

When: 6.

Where: Home Depot Center.

On the air: TV: ESPN, ESPN Deportes; Radio: 1150, 1220 (Spanish).

Record vs. Sounders: Galaxy leads playoff series, 1-0, and leads, 1-0, in aggregate goals.

Update: Although the Galaxy needs only a tie to advance to the conference finals after winning the first leg of this series in Seattle last weekend, no one is expecting the team to sit on its advantage. “Our focus has to be not to be tentative and not to be cautious and to go out and play the game … to win,” captain Landon Donovan said. The Sounders need to outscore the Galaxy by two goals to win the series and by one goal to force a 30-minute overtime. If the teams are still even in aggregate goals after that, penalty kicks will determine which team advances. Last week, a makeshift Galaxy defense, missing regular defender Todd Dunivant because of a hamstring injury, managed to slow Seattle’s Blaise Nkufo and Fredy Montero, although Galaxy goalkeeper Donovan Ricketts had to make a season-high eight saves. Dunivant could be ready Sunday.
