Grant Miller scored four goals and Xande Wright made 15 saves to lead No. 7 Damien at Las Flores Park in La Verne.

The Spartans (20-0), ranked No. 1 in Southern Section Division V, led, 4-1, at the half.

Bonita (14-5), ranked No. 3 in Division VI, was led by Nick Corjon with three goals. Both teams are defending Southern Section champions in their respective divisions.

Loyola 27, St. John Bosco 6
Mike Lennon tied a season-high by scoring six goals, including five in the second quarter, and James Banks had three goals for Loyola, which led 15-4 at the half. Lennon and Banks were among 13 players who scored for the Cubs (16-3), which has won six consecutive games.

Mira Costa 9, Whittier 2
Brett Lyon had three goals and Ronny Gtary had nine saves for Mira Costa (15-6). Freshman Cory Baccus scored both goals for host Whittier (8-14).

Erik Dearwin had nine goals and Jake Liphin added six goals for Carpinteria. Rhet Kemp, Pat Kelley, Tyler Buckingham and Ben Foley each scored twice for Nordhoff (6-14, 0-4).

Rory Bevins had eight goals, Adam McCall had three goals and eight steals and Andrew Mesesan had 13 saves in goal for host and No. 1 Servite (17-1, 1-0).

Shea Buckner scored eight goals and Kyle Casagrande and Alex Churchside scored four each for Villa Park (14-9, 3-0), ranked No. 5 in Southern Section Division II. El Modena (15-3, 2-1) came into the game ranked 10th in Division II. The Spartans ran their overall record against El Modena to 31-0 in Century League play.

FREEWAY LEAGUE

La Habra 10, Sunny Hills 9
Bryce Stowell scored game-winning goal with 32 seconds remaining to lead La Habra (11-9, 3-0) over visiting Sunny Hills (2-1 in league).

Alan Travis had six goals and Trent Johnson chipped in with four for host Sonora (3-0 in league). Fullerton is 0-3 in league.
