Alley Brown scored in the 24th minute for Ventura. Goalkeeper Emily Reynolds had nine saves for Nordhoff.

Nordoff lost three starters with first-half head injuries on collisions. All three were taken to the hospital, and they are all expected to return to play in about a week. Gracie Gartrell and Chelsea Burr both got concussions, and Rebecca Morrison got a cut on her forehead and received 10 stitches.

Alex Fulladosa scored both goals for Highland, including the go-ahead goal in the 65th minute of the 70-minute game. Her second goal, which was assisted by Jessica Guzzetti, broke a 1-1 tie. Janet Mendez assisted on Fulladosa's first goal, which was scored in the 50th minute.

Redondo scored in the final minute of the first half. Goalkeeper Kellie Drenner made eight saves for Highland (3-0-1), which now moves into the championship bracket.

Sahar Haghdan gave Highland a 2-0 lead with a goal in the 65th minute on an assist by Diana Mendez.

Championship Semifinals

Trabuco Hills 2, St. Margaret's 1
Nisha Chawla scored the game-winning goal in the 49th minute for Trabuco Hills (5-1), which opened the scoring on Katie Tribbie's goal in the seventh minute. Marissa Campbell had four saves for Trabuco Hills.

St. Margaret's (4-1-1) tied the score early in the second half when Jamie Schiffer scored on a feed by Jessica Demorest. Lauren Anjoi had seven saves for St. Margaret's. Trabuco Hills will play Ayala in the championship game at 6:30 p.m. Monday and St. Margaret's will take on Irvine University in the third-place game.

Lauren Danjoi recorded 12 saves in goal for St. Margaret's.

La Salle (2-0-2) junior Monika Augustine made three saves, including one on a breakaway against Eva Dixon, a former CIF Division IV player of the year.

Sophomore forward Christen Press scored four goals and an assist, her older sister, senior defender Tyler Press, had two for host Chadwick (4-0). Christen Press has scored nine goals this season.

Britney Scannell added one goal and one assist for the Dolphins, and Sammy Hale recorded her third shutout of the season.

LIBERTY LEAGUE

Oakwood 2, Milken 0

Nora Gilbert and Katie Pyne scored for Oakwood (1-1, 1-0) in a game played at Balboa Sports Complex in Encino.

Gilbert scored in the 10th minute on a breakaway and Pyne scored on a rebound in the 30th minute. Lauren Hillman recorded the shutout in goal.

SUNSHINE LEAGUE

La Salle 6, Ramona Convent 0
Gianna Gioia had two goals and one assist and Kim Derby also had two goals for La Salle (1-0-1, 1-0-0) in a victory at Whittier Narrows Park in South El Monte.

Sara Turcios had a goal and two assist for the Lancers, and junior goalkeeper Monika Augustine made three saves in her first shutout.

Marlborough 2, Notre Dame Academy 1
Lauren Paz struck a loose ball around the top of the box, scoring the game-winning goal from about 18 yards for visiting Marlborough (2-2, 1-0) with 10 minutes to play.

Notre Dame Academy (3-1, 0-1), which won Southern Section Division VI championship last season, took a 1-0 halftime lead after scoring on a rebound early in the game. Marlborough tied the score in the 55th minute as Kara Segal headed in a cross from Dominique Vellutato.

Cassie Tinyo had two goals and Katie Romero and Laura Davey both scored for host Aliso Niguel (3-0). Kindra Bailey had eight saves for Costa Mesa (4-1). Amanda McNab made three saves for the Wolverines.

Los Alamitos scored on a corner kick in the 10th minute, but Arcadia tied the game 10 minutes later on an unassisted goal from Megan Colombo from 15 yards out. Both teams are 2-0-1.

Nicki Maron and Rebecca Zimble each had a goal and an assist to lead Brentwood (2-1-1) past host Campbell Hall.

Calvary Chapel 2, Tarbut V'torah 1
Kerry Kaiser and Brooke Larsen each found the net in the first 15 minutes, and visiting Calvary Chapel (1-3) held on for the victory. Gabbie Segall scored for Tarbut V'torah (1-2) with 10 minutes left in the game but Calvary Chapel goalie Jessica Poulsen otherwise kept the ball out of the net, finishing with five saves.

Colony junior goalkeeper Eileen Valerio made seven saves, including one point blank to preserve the victory for Colony (1-1). Jessica Greganncicius made three saves for Chino Hills (2-2-1).

Trista Marquez scored for Dana Hills (2-0-1) in the seventh minute off a cross from Loran Logie in a victory at Fountain Valley (0-3).

Lauren Choate (three saves) and Danielle Moson (four saves) combined for Dana Hills' first shutout. Kristina Dague had seven saves for Fountain Valley.

Britney Vance had three goals and Kathy Orellana added two goals and two assists for Downey (5-1) in a victory at Artesia.

Jennifer Stoltenberg scored her first goal of the season in the 71st minute to break a 1-1 tie. El Toro (2-0-1) led, 1-0, at the half on a goal by Aleyce Oyama, and Samantha Baker scored for Wilson (0-2) in the 46th minute. El Toro goalkeeper Lauren Greggston made four saves in the first half, and teammate Dixie Blackwell had two saves in the second half.

Long Beach Wilson keeper Kaitlyn Gustaves made three saves. Jamie Paplia made two assists for El Toro.

Millikan goalkeeper Nicole Bostic had 11 saves and Canyon goalie Nikki Friedman made five saves. Canyon outshot Millkan, 20-7.

Rachel Levine scored the first two goals for Oak Park and Sam Stoll added the third for visiting Oak Park, which improved to 2-3. Rio Mesa fell to 0-3-1.

Oxnard vs. Santa Paula, suspended
Samy Hernandez of Oxnard scored off a restart in the first half, but the game was suspended midway through the second because slippery field conditions made it unsafe to continued. The game was halted by referees when eight players slipped in a massive pile and no one could find the ball in what essentially was a mud bog at Santa Paula's football field.

"There was a middle strip where there was more water than mud, about 65% sitting water," said Dave Holmgren, Santa Paula's coach. "There were five girls who had gone into the center of the top of the box, all fell andwere totally mud-covered, kicking and trying to find the ball. Three more girls cam rushing in and they slid into the pile of bodies. Officials couldn't see the ball."

Orange 3, Garden Grove Santiago 0
Alma Marcello had the hat trick for host Orange (4-0), scoring once unassisted and converting two passes from Norma Herrera.

Redlands 2, Los Osos 2
Katie Liby and Meredith Robie scored for Redlands (2-0-2). Sara Keller and Breanna Tospi scored in the final 15 minunted to salvage a tie for Los Osos (3-1-1).

Saddleback 2, Tustin 1
Jessica Zavalza scored what turned out to be the decisive goal in the 35th minute as Saddleback (2-2) took a 2-0 halftime lead in a victory over visiting Tustin (2-4-1).

Jessica Godinez scored the Roadrunners' first goal in the first minute of the game with a free kick. Tustin scored its only goal in the 50th minute, when Melissa Cueva headed in a cross from Cassidy Minko.

Sage Hill 1, Westminster 0
Emily Webb scored on a free kick for Sage Hill in the 77th minute off to lift the Lightning (6-0) to a victory over visiting Westminster. Laura Gordon had two saves in her third shutout.

Santa Ana Valley 3, Rancho Alamitos 2
Santa Ana Valley (3-2-1) tapped in the game-winning goal off a corner kick late in the game. Host Rancho Alamitos fell to 1-6-0.

Courtney Anderson scored the winning goal in the 76th minute for South Pasadena (3-1-0), which also got goals from Eva Dixon and Andrea Delatorre. Poly dropped to 1-3-2. Jen Regas scored on an assist by Kate Holman and Holman scored the second goal, assisted Eliza Walper, in the loss for visiting Pasadena Poly (1-2-2).

Cara Percival scored late in the first half off a cross from Amy Werblin to provide the difference for Sage Hill (5-0) as the Lightning won a tournament championship game for the first time in the school's five-year history.

Werblin also scored with an assist from Kellee Kim and Ali McLaughlin scored with an assist by Claire Josephson as Sage Hill scored all three of its goals in the first half and led by the final margin at halftime.

Megan Cunningham scored two goals, and fellow freshman starter Kristen Delsigne added a third, along with an assist, for West Torrance (2-0). West Torrance outshot Beverly Hills 25-4.
