Julie Bracamontes had nine kills, six digs and four aces, Sylvia Loza had nine kills and two blocks, Laura Sandoval had seven kills and six digs and Maria Ortiz had 25 asissts and seven digs for host Garfield (9-1, 7-0), which recorded its 75th consecutive league victory.

The streak started in 1998 and includes six league titles. The Roughriders drop to 6-4, 4-3.

MARINE LEAGUE

Carson d. Gardena, 25-10, 25-12, 25-22
Mary Laupepa had 14 kills, seven aces and four digs and Melissa Moimoi had 10 assists, three kills and four aces for host Carson (9-1, 6-1). Michelle Garcia added four aces for the Colts. Gardena is 2-5 in league.

San Pedro d. Wilmington Banning, 25-18, 25-12, 25-15
Jenny Miller had four aces, four kills and three digs and Alex Bubica had four aces, five kills and two blocks to pace visiting San Pedro (8-2, 5-2). Klaudija Holliday added three kills, five digs and an ace for the Pirates.

Hollywood d. Sun Valley Poly, 25-19, 26-24, 25-15
Lisa Ortiz had 15 kills to lead host Hollywood (8-2, 6-2).

Verdugo Hills d. North Hollywood, 25-6, 25-14, 25-20
Sara Bonet had 11 kills and three aces, Crystal Perryman had eight kills and Jennifer Espindola finished with 21 assists for Verdugo Hills (11-3, 7-0) in its decisive win over visiting North Hollywood (1-9, 0-7).

WEST VALLEY LEAGUE

Chatsworth d. El Camino Real, 25-18, 25-13, 25-23
Kelsey Mellor finished with eight kills and four blocks, Bea Ramos had nine kills and Jackie Tomas had 31 assists for visiting Chatsworth (9-1, 7-0). El Camino Real falls to 3-4 in league play.

COLISEUM LEAGUE

Manual Arts d. Jefferson, 25-8, 25-12, 25-19
Stephanie Ferrell had nine aces and nine kills to lead visiting Manual Arts (10-0, 7-0), which is in first place with three league matches remaining.

FREEWAY LEAGUE

Valley Alternative d. USC-Mast, 25-10, 25-12, 25-16
Senior Luisa Umana had 14 kills, six aces and 11 digs and her sister Chelsea, a freshman, added seven kills for Valley Alternative (9-0, 6-0) at Balboa Park in Encino.

MARINE LEAGUE

San Pedro d. Carson, 25-23, 25-20, 11-25, 20-25, 15-8
Junior Samantha Taylor had 12 kills and two aces and freshman Shannon Miller added 11 kills and two aces to lead host San Pedro (8-2, 4-2), which handed Carson (8-1, 5-1) its first defeat of the season and moved within one game of Carson and Narbonne, who are atop the league standings. Sophomore Alex Vuvica added seven kills and four aces for San Pedro. Carson was led by Mary Laupepa, who had 14 kills, three aces and two blocks, and Terrona Sail, who had five aces.

VALLEY MISSION LEAGUE

Reseda d. San Fernando, 25-17, 20-25, 21-25, 25-16, 15-12
Diana Perez had 10 kills and served nine aces and Kimberly Rodriquez added 13 kills for host Reseda (6-4, 4-3). Jazzmin Adibi had seven aces for San Fernando (2-5 in league).

Chelsea Duran had 14 kills, Bea Ramos had 13 and Lauren Cornell had eight blocks for Chatsworth (8-1, 6-0), which overcame a poor start against a determined effort by Granada Hills.

Roya Shahsavari had nine service aces to lead host El Camino (4-5, 3-3) over Birmingham (2-4 in league).
