COLISEUM LEAGUE

Crenshaw 17, Manual Arts 3 (6 innings)
Michelle Williams, Altane Mannor, Chachera Brantley each hit a home run and Kanora Posey had five stolen bases to help host Crenshaw (13-5, 10-0) clinch the Coliseum League title.

Fremont 11, Dorsey 7
Veronica Villareal had four hits, including a triple, and drove in three runs and Jamie Leonard had three hits, including a double, triple and four RBIs, and was the winning pitcher for Fremont (10-6, 5-5). Shameka Smith had two solo home runs to lead Dorsey (9-8, 6-4).

FREEWAY LEAGUE

Bravo 20, Sherman Oaks CES 2 (5 innings)
Sophomore Jessica Villegas pitched a four-hitter with 10 strikeouts for visiting Bravo (13-3, 13-0).

MARINE LEAGUE

San Pedro 1, Carson 0
Senior Nicole Castagnola scored in the bottom of the second inning on a throwing error by Carson second baseman Lolita Valdez to lift host No. 13 San Pedro (24-3, 9-1) to its fifth consecutive Marine League title.

Castagnola led off the second with a double and, two outs later, freshman Katelyn Oro hit a bloop toward Valdez, whose overthrow of first base allowed Castagnola time to score.

San Pedro senior Ashely Esparza (15-1) pitched a four-hitter with nine strikeouts to record her 13th shutout of the season. Esparza’s only setback this season came in a 3-2 loss to Carson in April.

Senior Danira Iolamo pitched a four-hitter with eight strikeouts for No. 12 Carson (24-6, 8-2).

SUNSET SIX LEAGUE

Canoga Park 17, North Hollywood 0 (5 innings)
Stacy Milne (13-7) pitched a no-hitter with nine strikeouts and one walk, Rosa Resendez went three for five with three RBIs and Lupe Vargas went two for three with two RBIs for visiting Canoga Park (13-7, 8-2). North Hollywood is 2-8 in league.

VALLEY MISSION LEAGUE

Granada Hills Kennedy 7, Van Nuys 2
Granada Hills Kennedy is 11-10, 6-4. Van Nuys is 9-14, 1-9.

Monroe 5, Reseda 4 (8 innings)
Junior Leslie Gameros went three for four and drove home the game-winning run with the bases-loaded in the bottom of the eighth inning to lift host Monroe (5-12, 3-7). Reseda is 2-8 in league.

Sylmar 2, San Fernando 0
Stephanie Boshae (14-0) pitched a two-hitter with eight strikeouts and hit a double and Adriana Gonzales had a RBI double in the second inning for host Sylmar (17-0, 10-0), which clinched the Valley Mission League championship with the victory.

WEST VALLEY LEAGUE

El Camino Real 7, Taft 1
Junior Daryn Rose went one for four with a triple and two RBIs and sophomore Kelly Oswald went one for three with a triple for host El Camino Real (21-5, 10-0), which clinched its 11th consecutive West Valley League title. Taft is 9-13-1, 3-7.

WESTERN LEAGUE

Venice 12, Palisades 3
Michele Sierra had three hits, including a solo home run and a three-run home run, to lead host Venice (15-9-1), which finished second in the Western League behind Westchester (10-0 in league). Talia Gallina added two hits, including a double, and two RBIs for Venice, which also received offensive help from Andrea Huerta, who had two hits and two RBIs, and Belinda Leos, who had two hits and one RBI. Palisades finished 5-5 in league.

Westchester 14, Fairfax 2
Junior DeNean Woods went three for five with four runs scored and one RBI and led off the game with a solo home run for visiting Westchester (17-7, 10-0). Fairfax is 5-5 in league.
