A 26 year-old man was shot early Sunday after he and two friends got into an argument with four other men outside a Westwood bar, police said.
The victim was in stable condition at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center after the 2 a.m. incident, which occurred at a bar in the 1000 block of Broxton Avenue, Los Angeles Police Officer Mike Lopez said.
The victim and his two friends were confronted in a parking lot by four men after leaving the bar. One of the four men pulled a gun and shot the victim in the chest. The two friends were not injured.
The four men fled in a silver-colored Nissan, Lopez said.
Investigators are trying to determine a motive and whether the dispute may have begun inside the bar and escalated outside, Lopez said.
