Boys’ basketball: Chaminade wins Division III state title
Michael Oguine scored 20 of his 26 points in the first half and finished with 13 rebounds to help West Hills Chaminade win its first state championship with a 71-51 victory over Sir Francis Drake in the Division III final at Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento.
Justin Eisen added 15 points and Trevor Stanback 12 for the Eagles (27-6), who played most of the game without 6-8 Jack Williams, who was ill.
