Camarillo (6-0) has been winning games all season, but it wasn’t until its 49-20 rout of St. Bonaventure on Friday night that people paid attention.

That’s because the Scorpions finally faced a top 25 team and more than passed the test.

Quarterback Jake Constantine has been passing the ball with great accuracy and making good decisions. He had 225 yards passing and four touchdowns against St. Bonaventure. Running back Isaiah Otis has been giving the Scorpions an offensive threat on the ground. He had four touchdowns. And receivers Elijah Alexander, Colby Stevens and Frankie Tostado give Constantine lots of options.

Linebacker Brett Triebold has led the defense in tackles.

“We have a great senior class,” Coach Jack Willard said.

Next up is another showdown game against unbeaten Calabasas.
