Football: Ex-Granada Hills receiver Kyle Jan is hoping for another upset

In 1987, Kyle Jan was a wide receiver for a Granada Hills team that stunned heavily favored Carson, 27-14, in the City Section championship game.
Now Jan is returning to Southern California on Saturday, because his son, Justin Jan, is a starting wide receiver for Chandler (Ariz.) that faces top-ranked St. John Bosco in a 4:30 p.m. game at Mission Viejo.
“I am hoping for an upset similar to the Carson game,” Kyle Jan said in an email.
