Football: Rams to write $2,500 check to Belmont High in honor of Coach Gregg Barden

The Los Angeles chapter of the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame announced at its annual banquet on Friday night that the Rams wanted to start participating in their program.

In honor of Gregg Barden, selected the organization’s coach of the year from Belmont High, the Rams will write a check for $2,500 to the Belmont football program.

Barden is stepping down as coach, so the next head coach will have some badly needed funds to support the program.
