Basketball: Regional finals underway at Colony High

The Southern California Regional finals have begun at Colony High in Ontario.
In the first game of the day, La Jolla Country Day beat Reedley Immanuel, 54-33, in Division V girls. Mai-Loni Henson scored 18 points to lead the Torreys (20-11), who were quarterfinalists in the San Diego Section’s Open Division.
Sara Vasquez had 14 points for Immanuel (22-7), the Central Section Division V champion.
Next up is the Division V boys final between La Canada Renaissance Academy, the Southern Section Division 5A champion, and Los Angeles View Park, the City Section Division V champion.
