When: 8.

Where: Pauley Pavilion.

On the air: TV: ESPN2; Radio: 570.

Records: Bruins 21-6 overall, 10-4 in Pac-12; Ducks 18-8, 6-8.

Record vs. Ducks: 1-0.

Update: The Bruins were fortunate to beat the Ducks, 70-68, in Eugene. UCLA blew a 10-point lead and needed a blocked shot by Kyle Anderson at the buzzer to come away with the victory. After a poor start in Pac-12 play, Oregon has won four of its last six games. The two losses were each by two points on the road. Oregon is paced by guard Joseph Young, who is averaging 18.6 points per game, and forward Mike Moser, a former Bruin who averages 13.3. The Ducks have not fared well against strong inside teams. UCLA is not that, but Oregon Coach Dana Altman said, “Their size at certain spots gives us problems.” One such spot is at point guard. Anderson, who is 6 feet 9, is averaging 14.9 points, 8.6 rebounds and 6.9 assists, and he’s building the type of resume that could earn him recognition as Pac-12 player of the year.
