The trickle-down from the Pac-12 Conference’s new television deal is already being felt at UCLA, which has invested heavily in a football staff.

Head coach Jim Mora received a five-year, $11.235-million deal. Rick Neuheisel, fired in December, received a five-year, $6.25-million contract in 2008.

Athletic department officials expect to take in $17.6 million this year from television contracts, multimedia rights and apparel sales. The Pac-12 agreed to a $3-billion television deal with Fox and ESPN.

Mora’s contract also includes retention bonuses paid annually that total $700,000 and performance bonuses that could pay him up to $750,000 per season. Also included in the contract is the use of two cars, a country club membership and a low-interest home loan.

Mora will earn $1.835-million for the 2012 season. He will receive a $100,000 retention bonus in January if he remains the Bruins’ coach. Mora will receive $2.2 million in 2013, $2.3 million in 2014, $2.4 million in 2015 and $2.5 million in 2016.
