Peyton Manning reportedly meeting with Broncos today

Could the quarterback drama get any bigger in Denver?

Maybe so.

According to the Denver Post, Peyton Manning was on his way Friday to that city in a Broncos plane, along with team executives John Elway and Brian Xanders, and Coach John Fox.

The newspaper confirmed that Elway, Fox and Xanders flew to Stillwater, Okla., to watch the Oklahoma State pro day that included quarterback Brandon Weeden. While they were watching, the plane was piloted to South Florida, where Manning owns a condominium.

Manning was then flown back to Stillwater, to pick up the three Broncos representatives, and they all headed back to Denver.

Quoting an NFL source, the Post said Manning will also visit Miami and Arizona. Another source, one close to Manning, told the Post that the quarterback wants to make a decision on a team by Tuesday, the first day of free agency.

Were the Broncos to land Manning, it would raise a big question: What would they do with Tim Tebow?

One possibility would be to trade Tebow, and an owner that might be interested is Jacksonville’s Shad Khan, who needs to put fans in the seats and knows that Tebow, who grew up in that area, could drive some serious fan interest.
