Caron Butler to start against the Nets
Clippers small forward Caron Butler, who missed the Oklahoma City game on Wednesday night with a strained right shoulder, said he will be in the lineup Friday night against the Brooklyn Nets.
Butler was injured in a game last week against the Chicago Bulls. He played in the first quarter against the San Antonio Spurs Monday, but didn’t return after that.
Matt Barnes, who started in Butler’s place Wednesday against the Oklahoma City Thunder, will return to his reserve role for Friday’s game.
