UCLA linebacker Jordan Zumwalt suffers minor injuries in accident
UCLA outside linebacker Jordan Zumwalt was involved in an accident while riding his scooter
on Sunday, according to a person close to the situation who was not authorized to speak on the matter.
Zumwalt was on his way back to his apartment when he was hit by a car in Westwood. He was taken to the hospital and treated for minor injuries. He was released that evening.
Zumwalt was not at practice on Tuesday, but he is expected to play against Colorado on Saturday. He is tied for fifth on the team with 16 tackles and is third in tackles for a loss with three.
Keenan Graham, Aaron Porter and Aramide Olaniyan saw time at outside linebacker off the bench against Oregon State. Freshman Kenny Orjioke played for the first time, on special teams, against the Beavers. He is another option at outside linebacker.
