Roschon Prince, Long Beach Poly, 6-6, Sr. The Gatorade state player of the year averaged 20.3 points, 7.2 rebounds and 2.3 assists in leading the Jackrabbits to a 28-4 record. He signed with USC.

London Perrantes, Crespi, 6-1, Sr. The Virginia-bound Perrantes was the top senior point guard in Southern California, averaging 19.7 points and 5.8 assists. He was the Mission League and Division IV player of the year.

Stanley Johnson, Mater Dei, 6-7, Jr. Stopping Johnson was every opponent’s task, and it was difficult. He averaged 19.4 points and 8.7 rebounds for the 34-2 Open Division state champion Monarchs.

Elijah Brown, Mater Dei, 6-4, Sr. Committed to Butler, Brown emerged as one of the most improved players. He averaged 17.3 points and came through in big games.

Jordan McLaughlin, Etiwanda, 6-1, Jr. Quick, athletic and tough, McLaughlin led Etiwanda to the Southern Section 1AA championship as a point guard who did whatever was needed to spark his team.

Jordan Mathews, Santa Monica, 6-3, Sr. The California-bound Mathews averaged 24 points for the 1A champions. He was at his best in the postseason, turning in games of 41 and 36 points.

Isaac Hamilton, St. John Bosco, 6-5, Sr. Bound for Texas El Paso, Hamilton averaged 22.1 points for the 3A champs. He was selected for the McDonald’s All-American Game.

Tyler Dorsey, St. John Bosco, 6-4, So. The revelation of 2013 was how good Dorsey could become. He averaged 17.1 points playing against the best competition in Southern California.

Evan Zeller, Mission Viejo, 6-3, Sr. He averaged 20.9 points for the 26-5 Diablos, scoring 50 points against Irvine University and 35 against Tesoro.

Marcus Jackson, Pacific Hills, 6-3, Sr. A four-year starter headed to Rice, Jackson averaged 17 points for the state Division IV champions.
