The week ahead in the NBA

MIAMI AT INDIANA: Tuesday, 4 p.m. PST.

The Pacers are making something out of what looked like a lost season as recently as early last month. Danny Granger’s knee injury may have deprived the team of Fab Four status, but Indiana retains a Paul (George) and a George (Hill) capable of making fans swoon. Miami is still Miami, though LeBron James’ bruised right knee has team trainers and worrywarts working overtime. The Eastern Conference player of the month for November and December has no intentions of slowing down, intending to make it three for three with another stellar month.
