Browns select UCLA’s Jordan Payton with the 154th pick in the NFL draft
The Cleveland Browns selected UCLA receiver Jordan Payton with the 15th pick in the fifth round of the NFL draft, 154th overall.
Payton, UCLA’s all-time receptions leader, caught 78 passes his senior season, five for touchdowns.
The 6-foot-1, 207-pound Payton becomes teammates with former USC quarterback Cody Kessler, whom the Browns selected in the third round.

Payton is the fifth Bruins player off the board, the third in the fifth round.
The Buccaneers selected Caleb Benenoch with the 148th pick, and the Giants took running back Paul Perkins with the 149th selection.
Defensive lineman Kenny Clark was drafted in the first round by the Packers, and linebacker Myles Jack went in the second round to the Jaguars.
