Update: Chivas USA has struggled since its opening-day victory over Chicago — its only win so far this season — and the team is last in Major League Soccer’s Western Conference. Colorado has not lost to Chivas USA since March 21, 2009, going 8-0-3 in the 11 matches since then. The Rapids also have gone six consecutive games without a loss against Chivas USA at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park. The teams conducted a trade last week, with Chivas USA sending forward Luke Moore to Colorado in exchange for midfielder Marvin Chavez.
