Update: The two worst teams in the Western Conference will face each other for the second time this year as both try to climb out of the conference cellar. Portland has come away with points in its last five games and Chivas USA has a victory and a tie in its last two games. The teams’ offenses have improved since their first meeting, a 1-1 tie in Providence Park. Portland’s Maximiliano Urruti has scored four times in four games, including two goals in last week’s 2-1 victory against the New York Red Bulls. Marvin Chavez, who scored two goals in his debut against Colorado, and homegrown talent Marco Delgado have provided Chivas USA with scoring help in the last two games.
