United, which is in second place in Major League Soccer’s Eastern Conference. This is their only regular-season matchup this year; Chivas USA won last year, 1-0, at StubHub Center. Chivas USA is coming off a 3-1 victory against the Whitecaps in Vancouver, a game in which Torres scored for a fifth consecutive game. He has a team-high 13 goals. D.C. United has won its last two games, the latest 2-1 over San Jose.
