Update: The Galaxy, winless on the road in MLS play this season, faces a Colorado team that has won three in a row, its longest single-season win streak in four years. But the Rapids still are in the Western Conference cellar, eight points out of a playoff berth. The Galaxy’s 15-game road winless streak, which dates to Aug. 20, 2014, is the third-longest in club history. That last road win came in Colorado. Although the Galaxy was shut out in Houston last week, the team has scored 20 goals in its last six MLS games — seven coming from Robbie Keane, who missed Wednesday’s MLS All-Star game because of a shoulder injury. Keane and Steven Gerrard, who also skipped the All-Star game because of injury, are expected to play Saturday. The team also will be welcoming some reinforcements with forwards Gyasi Zardes and Alan Gordon and defender Omar Gonzalez all returning from international duty with the U.S. national team. Also back in a Galaxy uniform will be goalkeeper Donovan Ricketts, who was reacquired in a trade Thursday to replace regular keeper Jaime Penedo, who was placed on waivers at his request.
