Sparks’ struggles continue in 90-83 loss to Sky

Jamierra Faulkner scored a season-high 27 points and Epiphanny Prince had 15 to help the Chicago Sky beat the Sparks, 90-83, at Staples Center on Tuesday night.
The defeat ended a two-game winning streak for the Sparks, who have lost six of their last nine and are 6-9 on the season. Nneka Ogwumike had 26 points and six rebounds and Candace Parker scored 22 for L.A.
Faulkner scored 17 points in the second half, including a jumper at the top of the key with 53 seconds remaining to give the Sky an 80-75 lead.
Chicago (8-8) ended a six-game losing streak in Los Angeles.
