Update: For once, the Galaxy was on the right side of a late-game swing in Thursday’s win over Columbus, relying on two late penalty-kick goals from captain Robbie Keane since Landon Donovan is with the national team. On short rest, the Galaxy will host second-place FC Dallas, which sits four points ahead of the fourth-place Galaxy. Last season, the Galaxy was 6-4-1 on two days’ rest.
