Finally, the Clippers are back playing at home at Staples Center for a while.

The bad news is that is that they start their five-game homestand Wednesday night against the two-time defending NBA champion Miami Heat and LeBron James.

The Clippers will be playing just their third game at home out of their last 12 games.

They have lost two of their last three games but have defeated the Heat five times in a row in Los Angeles.

The Clippers have played well at home, having won their last seven games at Staples Center and are 20-3 there this season.

Still, it won’t be easy to defeat a Heat team that has a 14-9 road record.
