Pac-12 media day: Mike MacIntyre says future is bright for Colorado
Mike MacIntyre turned around the football program at San Jose State.
Can he do the same at Colorado?
The Buffaloes’ new coach sounded confident Friday at Pac-12 Conference media day.
“The future is bright no matter what you hear out there,” McIntyre said. “Our future is bright.”
MacIntyre said changing the culture was the first step in reviving a program that has struggled since 2006. Colorado was 1-11 last season under former coach Jon Embree.
Colorado lost to USC, 50-6, last season. The Trojans play at Boulder, Colo., on Nov. 23.
