Report: Rams have had conversations about signing Tim Tebow

It’s desperation time in St. Louis, but is it Tebow time?

In the wake of Sam Bradford’s season-ending knee injury, the Rams have discussed signing free-agent quarterback Tim Tebow, according to a report by NFL Media’s Michael Silver, who cited an unnamed team source.

Kellen Clemens is the backup in St. Louis, and the Rams have no other quarterbacks on the roster. The team were among the teams that looked into acquiring Tebow in 2012 before the Denver Broncos traded him to the New York Jets.

The Rams showed no interest in signing Tebow when the Jets cut him loose this offseason, however.

Silver reported that although the Rams have had conversations about signing Tebow, they are unlikely to do so.
