Watch Torii Hunter hit walk-off three-run homer for Tigers
Think the Angels would like to have this guy back?
Torii Hunter lifted the Detroit Tigers to victory Thursday against Oakland by hitting a walk-off three-run homer in the bottom of the ninth against A’s closer Grant Balfour to give the Tigers a 6-4 win.
“I lost my vision rounding the bases because I was so pumped up -- I almost passed out,” Hunter said. “All my air was out of me because I was screaming so loud.”
The Angels let Hunter go in the off-season, preferring to sign Josh Hamilton instead. Let’s see how they compare:
Hamilton: .234, 19 HRs, 60 RBIs
Hunter: .306, 16 HRs, 70 RBIs
Yeah, nice move Angels.
