UFC World Tour hits Los Angeles on Tuesday
The Ultimate Fighting Championship will bring its unprecedented World Tour to Los Angeles on Tuesday at L.A. Live, a public gathering that multiple champions will attend.
Women’s champion Ronda Rousey of Venice and her Dec. 28 challenger, Miesha Tate, are scheduled to appear at the 11 a.m. event. They’ll fight in December as the co-main event to the anticipated Chris Weidman-Anderson Silva rematch at MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
Georges St-Pierre, who’ll defend his welterweight title in November in Las Vegas, is also expected to attend Tuesday with his challenger, Johny Hendricks.
The two most recent heavyweight champions, Cain Velasquez and his October challenger Junior Dos Santos, will discuss their third fight, which will take place in Houston.
And UFC light-heavyweight champion Jon Jones is scheduled to talk about his September defense in Toronto against Alexander Gustafsson.
UFC President Dana White will preside over the event, which has also stopped in the Bay Area and Las Vegas, with future stops in New York, Houston, Stockholm, Dallas, Chicago and London.
