Baseball: Matt La Belle resigns at Simi Valley
Matt La Belle, the baseball coach at Simi Valley for 11 years, said Thursday night he has resigned to become an assistant principal in charge of athletics at Burbank High.
“It’s the right thing for my family,” said La Belle, who guided Simi Valley to two Southern Section championships.
John Arisohn, a former Simi Valley baseball player and assistant to La Belle, will become the new coach.
