You work hard. When someone asks to go to happy hour, say yes. If you’re in the downtown L.A. area, here are three new happy hours to check out now, including a late-night pasta hour, for those times when you’re the last one in the office and need to reward yourself.

Broken Spanish: Beverage director Mike Lay has created three new cocktails for the restaurant’s Hora Especial menu. The La Grenada is made with tequila, elderflower, lime, pomegranate, mint and angostura; the Salsipuedes is a mix of mezcal, lime, ginger, pineapple and habanero; and the Estrella is made with tequila, berry cordial, lime, vanilla and absinthe. Each cocktail is $8. House red and white wines are $6 a glass and, if you’re celebrating, $4, 1-ounce shots of mezcal or tequila. The Hora Especial menu is available from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Monday to Thursday on the patio or at the bar. 1050 S Flower St., Los Angeles, (213) 749-1460, www.brokenspanish.com.

There’s a selection of charcuterie and cheese boards, housemade terrines and tapas with wine pairing suggestions. Items on the menu range in price from $5.50 for a plate of marinated olives to $33 for a large board of cheese, charcuterie and terrines that are meant for a couple of coworkers to share. 545 S. Ledlow: Josef Centeno’s downtown restaurant has an early evening happy hour, a late-night happy hour and a new late-night pasta hour. The pasta hour menu is available Sunday to Friday from 10 p.m. to midnight and includes an $8 bowl of lemon pappardelle, an $8 bowl of spaghetti, $9 ricotta cavatelli, $5 garlic brioche bread and $5 tomato toast with mozzarella. And if you happen to stop in and feel like a burger, there’s a griddled cheeseburger on the menu too. To drink, a $5 Negroni Shagliato, a $7 Kentucky mule, a couple glasses of wine and some beer. 400 S. Main St., Los Angeles, (213) 687-7015, www.ledlowla.com.
