Baseball: Moorpark has team GPA of 4.02

Moorpark is supposed to be very good in baseball this spring, but even more impressive is what the Musketeers are accomplishing in the classroom.

According to Coach Scott Fullerton, 12 of his 18 players have grade-point averages of 4.0 or higher. The team GPA is 4.02 with AP grade bumps.

No one has a higher GPA than left-handed pitcher Kenny Brawner, a UCSD signee with a 4.8 GPA.

There will probably be a lot of players doing math homework on bus rides to and from games this season.
