Update: The Lakers needed overtime and Andrew Bynum’s tip-in with 1 minute 29 seconds left to pull out an 88-87 victory at Boston on Feb. 9. That was the beginning of a slide in which the Celtics lost seven of eight games, though they had rebounded to win six of seven coming into Sunday.
