College Baseball : Reimer Powers Fullerton, 10-6
Kevin Reimer went 2 for 5 with three RBIs, including a two-run homer in the first inning, to lead Cal State Fullerton to a 10-6 nonconference victory over Azusa Pacific Wednesday on the Cougars’ field. The Titans improve to 21-22-1.
Blane Larker added three hits, and Jose Mota had a two-run home run in the ninth inning for Fullerton. In other nonconference action:
UC Irvine 23, USIU 3--Adam Ging and Bob Perry each had four hits and two RBIs, and Don Davis added three hits, including a home run, and three RBIs, to lead the Anteaters to the win over the Gulls at San Diego. UCI is 18-17-1, USIU 14-16-1.
