Aztec Women Win Two Softball Games

SAN DIEGO — The San Diego State women’s softball team defeated sixth-ranked Pacific, 1-0, and 14th-ranked New Mexico, 2-1, in the opening round of the Libby Matson Tiger Invitational at Pacific on Thursday. Lori Thompson pitched a four-hitter in the opening game, and Robin Reid pitched a two-hitter in the second game.
