Quarterback Keith Fitzgerald of Bell-Jeff hit Bill Brockway with a 14-yard pass to set up Pete Vucurevic’s 18-yard run with 9:59 left in the second quarter. . . . Southpaw Fitzgerald threw two yards to Nick Pavicic in the right side of the end zone to put the Guards ahead 17-0 with 21 seconds remaining in the half. . . . With 8:32 left in the third quarter, Fitzgerald hit Brockway with an 18-yard touchdown pass. . . . Fitzgerald later hit Fernando Gauna with a 15-yard strike for the Guards’ final tally.
