Miraleste Will Meet No. 3 El Segundo for 2-A Water Polo Title

Unseeded Miraleste High School (23-4) of Rancho Palos Verdes, which beat No. 1 Santa Ynez in the semifinals last week, will meet third-seeded El Segundo (21-5) for the Southern Section 2-A water polo championship today at 3:30 p.m. at Belmont Plaza in Long Beach.

The match will be the first of three championship matches at the complex. Top-seeded El Toro (23-7) will play No. 2 Placentia El Dorado (25-5) at 5:15, and the 4-A contest between top-seeded Fullerton Sunny Hills (27-0) and No. 3 Newport Beach Corona del Mar (20-6) is scheduled for 8:30.
