Reserve sophomore forward Jeff Nolan scored 20 points as Cal State Long Beach held off Hawaii Pacific, 83-81, in a nonconference basketball game Wednesday night.
Long Beach is 2-2 for the season. Hawaii Pacific is 2-4.
