Club Names Gaynor Its Athlete of Year

Cal State Long Beach quarterback Doug Gaynor has been selected the Long Beach Century Club’s Athlete of the Year. He will be honored by the sports booster group Jan. 29 at the Golden Sails Inn.
Gaynor completed 71.2% of his passes this season for 3,559 yards and 19 touchdowns.
He has been chosen to play in this month’s Hula Bowl, an all-star game in Honolulu.
