76ers Trade Leon Wood to Bullets

PHILADELPHIA —
The Philadelphia 76ers traded guard Leon Wood to the Washington Bullets for rookie forward Kenny Green Friday.
The 6-3 Wood, in his second season with the 76ers out of Cal State Fullerton, was the team’s first-round pick in the 1984 draft.
Green, 6-7, played 20 games with the Bullets and averaged six points a game. The Eustis, Fla., native attended Wake Forest and was the Bullets’ first choice in the 1985 draft.
