Boys’ Roundup : Walker Scores 30 as Brea Defeats Sonora

Kevin Walker outscored Sonora High by himself Friday night, totaling 30 points in Brea-Olinda’s 80-29 nonleague victory over the Raiders in the Wildcats gym.

Walker also had 11 rebounds and teammate Mike Tousey added 11 points for the Wildcats, who improved their season record to 12-4. Brea played under control most of the game, turning the ball over only five times, and capitalized on Sonora’s 25 turnovers.

Graham Stains led the Raiders with 8 points.

Troy 45, Magnolia 29--The Warriors (6-7) broke the game open in the third quarter. Rob Burrer led that outburst with 10 of Troy’s 14 points. Burrer finished with 14 points and 8 rebounds.

Magnolia fell to 3-8 on the season.
