Thousand Oaks Drops Newbury Park, 2-1

The Thousand Oaks girls soccer team took 22 shots on goal, hitting two, to defeat Newbury Park in overtime, 2-1.

Newbury Park held a 1-0 lead for most of the game, but a goal by Thousand Oaks’ Lisa Horne with less five minutes remaining tied it up. Emily Harman scored the winning goal midway through the first five-minute overtime.
