ORANGE COUNTY PREP BASKETBALL : Kennedy Rides Halftime Lead to 79-53 Victory Over Pacifica

Kennedy High School opened a 13-point halftime lead on its way to a 79-53 victory over host Pacifica in Empire League action Wednesday night.
Senior forward Glenn Mares scored 18 points and teammate Danny Curry added 19 points for the Fighting Irish. Kennedy improved to 3-4 in league and 7-9 overall.
Pacifica, which had 15 points from senior forward Scott McDowell, fell to 1-5 and 5-11.
