Point Loma Slips Past SCC, 70-64

Deon Richard scored 21 points and Steve Bruce added 12 Tuesday to lead Point Loma past Southern California College, 70-64, in an NAIA District III game played in the Vanguards’ gym at Costa Mesa.

Southern California College 74, Point Loma 64--Kim Nidey scored 29 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and had 5 assists to lead the Vanguards past the Crusaders in an NAIA District III women’s game.
