Orange County Prep Basketball : St. Margarets Has a First With Win Over West Shores

Robb Lee and Eric Flathers combined for 42 points Saturday as St. Margarets High School won its first-ever home game, 64-55, over West Shores at the Laguna Beach Boys’ Club.

The win gave St. Margarets sole possession of second place in the Collegiate League at 7-2 and knocked West Shores into third at 5-4. Lee led the Tartans with 22 points, followed by Eric Flathers with 20 and Mark Flathers with 10. West Shores’ Danny Arnold led all scorers with 26 points, 16 of them coming in the second half while he played with four fouls.

ST. MARGARETS (64)--Lee 22, Eric Flathers 20, Mark Flathers 10, Cooper 2, Westendorf 2, Risner 2, Krane 6.

In the Olympic League:

Whittier Christian 83, Orange Lutheran 60--Todd Morrison had 23 points and 10 rebounds and Mike Goodcase added 20 points as the unbeaten Heralds (12-0, 20-0) beat the Lancers in Orange. Matt Zaun led Orange Lutheran (7-7, 14-7) with 20 points. Lmanyeo Scott and Mike Krabbe added 12 points each.
