Bardsley Leads SCC Over Cal Lutheran

Ken Bardsley scored 20 points to lead Southern California College to a 95-85 win over Cal Lutheran in a District 3 basketball game at SCC.

Jon Haar added 14 points for the Vanguards (7-5, 18-9). Randy McAllister had 13.

Cal Lutheran’s Steve Delaveaga led all scorers with 22 points. Cal Lutheran is 2-10 in conference, 5-22 overall.

SCC had a 51-38 lead at halftime.

Cal Lutheran 67, Southern California College 64--Forward Gloria Phillips scored 20 points and had 20 rebounds to lead Cal Lutheran (5-10, 13-12). Kim Peppi added 18 points and 10 rebounds for Cal Lutheran.

SCC’s Connie Brazell had 14 points and 7 assists. SCC is 3-11, 12-15.
